Topic: Business Basics

Entrepreneur generally isn't our only title. We are mothers, spouses, caregivers, supporters and friends. Because of that, we often are pulled in many directions which can lead to fatigue and burnout. Protecting your energy is understanding what drains and replenishes you, mentally, emotionally, and physically. Setting limits to what people can expect from you and what you should expect from yourself and recognizing when and how and when to recharge is key in maintaining a healthy and sustainable approach to work and life. ABOUT SARA JACKSON Sara started her career teaching before transitioning to human resource development for Dakota County. She spent 20 years serving in the MN Air National guard. She started Flipside Mind to create more opportunities to connect with people hand have an impact on personal and professional development. Cultivating that "aha" moment and empowering people to grow and lead authentically remains her driving force. She obtained a master’s degree in Human Resource Development and a Graduate Certificate in Adult Learning from the University of MN. Sara is also certified in DiSC and EQi-2.0.
